This beautiful i8 Phidippus otiosus × regius hybrid features bold black and cream markings, banded legs, brilliant green chelicerae, and an adorable white crown. This unique combination of both species may continue to develop and change with future molts.
This jumper is presumed male based on current appearance. However, the pedipalps are not as swollen as expected, so there is still a possibility this spider may be female. Sex cannot be guaranteed until maturity.
